How to use Taxa

The following table provides links to pages of information about how to use this computer.  Obviously, only users have accounts, but a lot of the information should be useful to nonusers who are interested in learning how to use Sun computers or other Unix machines.  There are links to many sources of information on these pages.
 
 
Operating System Information on Solaris 2.6 (including the Solaris Answerbook), VNC, shells (especially tcsh), file system, and path issues.  Also see the "Changes" and "New Software" pages, and remember that the list of user numbers is also available.
Printing Issues How to print to Locust Street or Engineering West, etc.
Web Software Apache web server, Adobe Acrobat, Lynx, MHonArc, Netscape, Swish
Editors AbiWord, Emacs, Xemacs, Jmacs, JOVE, JOE, rJoe, Jstar, pico, Jpico, and vi

Genetic Analysis Linkage is installed.  I'll add more in /opt/genes/. I have added the files and web pages for the NATO Advanced Study Institute Statistical Methods for Genetic Studies.
