I have some (ancient) digital pictures of my son and me, and then there are a bunch of pictures that I haven't organized yet. I recently purchased a flatbed scanner, so I'll be scanning pictures and linking them to this page. For now, if you only see one thing, it should be the picture of Christopher's first shave (95 kB).
I love the intricate patterns of fractal images. When I got my first 386 computer with SVGA monitor back in 1991, I used a program called FRACTINT to produce a collection of images from Mandelbrot and Newton sets. These are purely mathematical objects--my only artistic contribution was to choose how to assign colors to numbers. My collection is here. They look best, by far, if viewed in a darkened room. If I had to pick just one, I suppose I'd call this one my favorite.
Binky's Home Page -- She used to be my cat, but she died. My old neighbor, an animal lover and computer genius, built this page while I was in Australia so that I could see how Binky was doing. Here's a picture of Binky doing what she loved most in life.
Here are some pictures of my former home in Columbia, MO, as seen from a satellite orbiting Earth. You can even see the route I drive to get to work. Bizarre, yet fun!
One of my friends is an anagram savant. Here's what he did with my name.
Now this is really silly!: I wrote four haikus for the Spam Haiku Archive. You can read mine by clicking here. Mine are the first four listed (the only four at the time of this writing).
