Vacation out West, August 2003

For vacation in August 2003, Christopher and I drove 4,500 miles in two weeks. As planned, we saw many of our states, many wonders of our country and southern Canada, and we visited my sister's family and my parents at my sister's home in beautiful Stehekin, Washington. Day 1:  Starting out - Spam museum, A classic: The Corn Palace.
Day 2:  South Dakota - Badlands, Mall Drug, Mount Rushmore.
Day 3:  Wyoming - Devils Tower, Bighorn Mountains.
Day 4:  Wyoming - Cody, crossing into Montana, Yellowstone!
Day 5:  Yellowstone - hot springs, bison, deer, Old Faithful.
Day 6:  leaving Yellowstone, Montana, Idaho
Day 7:  Stehekin - arrival, my sister's place.
Day 8:  Stehekin - trampoline, kayak, ancient Indian paintings.
Day 9:  Stehekin - bike ride, Rainbow Falls, school house, dog fights, volleyball.
Day 10:  Stehekin - horse ride, hike, dinner at the ranch, sunset.
Day 11:  Stehekin - Jake and the horses, photos of Monica, farewell.
Day 12:  Seattle - aquarium, Space Needle.
Day 13:  British Columbia & Alberta - mountains, glaciers, Lake Louise, Banff.
Day 14:  boring - Saskatchewan, North Dakota.
