Photos from Calderón taken on Sunday, August 20, 2006

I'm not adding captions to these photos. All of them were taken at the Sunday market in Calderón on the north side of Quito, Ecuador. You can see what is sold there, and what some of the people look like who sell things there. Some of the people are indigenous people in traditional garb, some are blacks who probalby moved to the area recently from the coast, and some are the usual mix of ethnicities typical of the Quito area. Some people like having their picture taken. Some people seem to avoid having their picture taken, but many of those people are essentially looking for a bribe — if it's so great for me to take their picture, why don't I pay for the priviledge?
